Easy Homemade Pie Crust

Have you ever asked the question "How do you make a simple pie crust from scratch by hand"?  Well, I did and luckily for me, I had a very dear friend who gave me the best recipe ever. I kid you not, it only has 5 common ingredients that every kitchen is already stocked with. Hand made crust When I first made this easy homemade pie crust recipe, it came out perfect. I have even doubled the recipe to use in my recipe for homemade chicken pot pie casserole. Oh sure you can buy a frozen pie crust from the store, but once you try this pie crust you will never want store-bought again. This recipe changed my mind, now I make every pie crust that I need from scratch by hand.

Ingredients
  • 2 cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup butter or coconut oil
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinger
  • 1 eggs
  • 3 1/2 tbsp water
Instructions
  1. With a fork, mix flour, salt, butter
  2. in a separate bowl mix the vinegar,egg, and water
  3. Then pour the liquid mixture into the flour mixture. Work together into a ball. Once the dough is mixed well it should feel very soft.
  4. Divide the dough into two parts, roll it out, then place in a pan.
